CPR CERTIFICATION
To celebrate February as National
Heart Month,
we are offering one Heartsaver (non-medical) and two Healthcare
Providers (medical) classes. Certification cards are $10; the
course itself is free. Let us know when you sign up whether you'd
also like a workbook ($13). Courses result in two-year American
Heart Association certification in adult, child, and infant CPR,
and use of the AED. Class sizes limited
to 15.

DROP-IN DAYS / ORIENTATIONS
These informal gatherings allow existing members to stay
current, and new members to learn the basics. Please
urge anyone you know who might be interested in the unit to attend
an orientation.
Drop-In Days
(open to all members): Feb. 9
(Thurs.) and March 6 (Tues.)
4 to 7 p.m, MRC office at Millennium School, 23 Depot Street,
Westford. Stop by at your convenience on either of these dates
to keep informed about the unit and its activities. (Please allow
up to an hour if you are coming for an orientation.) Review our
12-minute video, basic procedures and documents, and receive your
badge and uniform.
Orientation at LGH
(open to prospective members): Feb.
15 (Weds.), 4:30 to 6 p.m., Clark Auditorium at Lowell
General Hospital, 295 Varnum Avenue, Lowell MA, 01854.
III.
HEALTH FAIRS
All
members are eligible to help with staffing our MRC displays. This
is a great way for new volunteers to meet their fellow members
and interact with the public we serve.

TRAINING
Stay tuned and check back often, as we are in the process of adding
